9/28/07 - An optional early packet pickup will be held on Wednesday, October 10th from 3:00PM to 7:00PM. The pickup will take place at AZ Cyclery located at 6808 N. Dysart Rd., Glendale, AZ. Their telephone number is 623-935-2721. Packets can also be picked up race morning.

7/16/07 - The White Tank Mountain Regional Park has announced they will be raising the park entry fee from $5/vehicle to $6/vehicle effective beginning in August, 2007. The $6/vehicle fee will be in effect when both the Cactus ChaCha Training Run and the Cactus ChaCha Trail Runs take place.

7/4/07 - An informal ChaCha Training Run has been scheduled for Saturday, September 22nd, at 7:00AM at the race site. Members of the race committee will be on hand to answer questions about the ChaCha and describe the course to participants. You can run the 3 or 7 mile course. There is no cost to participate except the $6 per vehicle entry fee into the park. This is not a race or an official event so participants are free to start when they want. Please bring your own food and water as it will not be provided. The trail is open to the public on that day and you may encounter bicyclists (they tend to be very courteous). Everyone is welcome! 7/3/07 - The race committee is pleased to announce that $200 cash awards will be given to record setters in the 7 mile race. The cash awards are possible because of a generous donation from Verrado Village Sport & Health Club. Current 7 mile course records are:

5/30/07 - The 2007 Cactus ChaCha has already begun to receive entries for this year's race. Thanks to all who have already registered and those who plan to. The ChaCha board has also begun working hard to make this a great event. See you October 13, 2007! Register now.
